New Sponsor Announcement: Puget Sound AquaTraction Joins the Tollycraft Boating Club
We are thrilled to announce that Puget Sound AquaTraction has joined the Tollycraft Boating Club as a new sponsor. Jenn and Travis Bryan, owners DevilDawg (1989 Tolly 40), recently shared their positive experience with Connor Whan from AquaTraction.
“When we bought our 1989 40 Sedan, it came from California and had unsightly spider cracks on the decks. In addition to wanting those covered, we also realized the ‘non-skid’ traction of the deck was anything but, when it got wet. It was also difficult to keep clean, and painful when kneeling on it.”
Jenn and Travis explored various decking options but found nothing satisfactory. One option even suggested grinding down the deck’s existing texture, which was not a viable solution given the deck’s size. However, their search ended at the Seattle Boat Show, where they discovered AquaTraction.
“AquaTraction was new to the Seattle market. They assured us that they did not need to grind down the texture of the deck, as their process uses a double adhesive. They came out to template our decks shortly after the boat show and were professional and had great suggestions. They have many non-traditional color choices, which appealed to us; if you’ve ever been aboard DevilDawg, you know we don’t do ‘traditional’ decor.”
The installation process was smooth and completed in a day. Jenn and Travis were impressed with both the product and the company’s service. Connor, being local to Skagit County and a boater himself, truly understood the needs of Puget Sound boaters.
“The floor is easy on the feet, cleans nicely, and gives a neat and modern facelift for our classic boat. If you’re out and see DevilDawg, stop by to see it for yourself!”
We are excited to have Puget Sound AquaTraction as a Tollycraft Boating Club sponsor and look forward to more of our members benefiting from their decking solutions. For more information about their products and services, be sure to check them out!
