Registration Open for Tollyclub Opening Day Cruise
Registration is open for our Tollyclub Cruise to Opening Day on the UW Logboom. This is a great way to start the 2024 boating season. The 2024 theme, established by the Seattle Yacht Club, is “Pirates and Pursuers.”
The Windermere Cup is a 4-day event filled with yachts, Yacht Club parties, dancing, crew racing, food, music, and fun.
The UW dock is close by to bring aboard guests or walk your dogs. Dinghies are a must. Because we are rafted to each other along the log boom, it is a great opportunity to meet other club members.
We have an unbeatable view of the Windermere Cup Regatta and Parade. Visit the Yacht Clubs to enjoy dinner and dancing. There is always entertainment on the log boom.
We side-tie to each other and stern-tie to the Logboom. It can seem a little intimidating if you’ve not participated in Opening Day before, but club members are there to help! It is well worth the effort. Regardless of experience level, everyone has succeeded in tying to the boom.
Boats can begin arriving Thursday after 2 p.m. While this is a four-day event, we will hold your spot until Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Please let us know if you will be arriving late.
Dinner, dancing, and entertainment are available Wednesday through Saturday at Queen City Yacht Club. QCYC also sponsors a Sunday morning breakfast. Tickets should be purchased in advance. More information will be available in April.
We look forward to seeing you on Opening Day!
